Thank God it's Friday

After what seems to be a very stressful week at work, it's finally Friday and the wine is calling me. I have arranged a girl’s night out today, my husband is out with the boys so I have 10 friends coming round for a wine night then into my local town for another couple. This is the main reason I'm childfree, I love our social life, I love the flexibility of our life and above all the freedom.



Both Mr M and I are very lucky to have a wide and varied circle of friends, some are childfree and some do have children, however we no longer have friends with younger children as those who produced in their 30s we found to be so wrapped up in nappies that we found we had nothing in common with them anymore. The thing we found strange is we never thought we would lose friendships because of children but sadly that was the case, I think parents never understand 2 hours of constantly talking about their offspring is incredibly boring! But the friends we have are a joy.
